The intent of the RFP is to engage the services of a qualified landscape maintenance contractor to provide yearround landscaping and site maintenance services for Fish Creek Provincial Park in Calgary, AB. Objective 1 Ensure that the landscape of Fish Creek Provincial Park remains accessible and available for the safe use and enjoyment of all Albertans on a year-round basis. Objective 2 Ensure that facility zones, day use areas and buildings of Fish Creek Provincial Park is maintained to a high standard meeting or exceeding the maintenance expectations of a large urban park of a similar size, nature and complexity. Services required include: 1. Minor building maintenance 2. Facility area maintenance, cleaning and landscape 3. Paved and granular trail system maintenance 4. Lawn area mowing, landscape and irrigation 5. Snow and ice removal and mitigation 6. Pathway, firebreak and boundary mowing 7. Solid waste removal 8. Signs, gates and barriers 9. Various minor maintenance tasks as required Objective 3 The Province is also requesting hourly rates for Landscaping and Minor Maintenance Services that will be required from time to time at additional facilities within the Alberta Parks Kananaskis Region, as instructed by the Contract Manager or designate. Some of these additional facilities are situated in geographically diverse mountainous areas and can be subject to adverse weather and driving conditions. - (Appendix D, Map 1- Extra Work Locations) This Contract shall be effective from the Effective Date until March 31, 2027 unless terminated in accordance with this Contract.
