Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,250-square-foot, two-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility.

Project no- 20058 Project Code: 501-B0501-009 Sealed bids are invited for the interior and exterior to the VDOT Glen Alden Warehouse, at 5325 Glen Alden Drive, in Henrico, VA. The project is generally described as demolition of interior 2-story construction and construction of a one-story 1250 SF interior tenant fit-up within an existing warehouse structure, including metal stud, GWB, insulation, ceilings, finishes, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler work. The work also included exterior demolition and replacement of ramps and steps. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are required, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.) Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
