Site work and new construction of a military facility in Gypsum, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,500-square-foot military facility; and for site work for a military facility.
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) requests bids for the addition of eight (8) office spaces on the second floor of the existing HAATS facility. The area to be constructed currently serves as 'open' administration room #2043, a space of approximately 2,500 square feet. The open area contains carpet, a drop ceiling, finished walls, one wall of glazing adjacent to the helicopter hangars, Construction shall include lighting, electrical outlets, HVAC, telecommunications, and fire protection. To be considered as qualified, interested firms shall have, as a minimum: 1. Provided General Contracting services within the last three (3) years for at least two (2) projects each in excess of $400,000 (hard costs), utilizing the expertise present in their Colorado Office; and 2. Demonstrated specific General Contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity. A priority will be experience with concrete pavements and Pre-Cast building systems. 3. Demonstrated bonding capability up to $500,000 for an individual project coincidentally with current and anticipated workloads; provide letter from surety that affirms this capacity. 4. Any bid that exceeds $50,000 will be required to submit a bid bond along with their bid equal to 5% of the amount of their bid.
