This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2 level 3 charging stations and 1 level 2 charging station to be installed for the Town of Gypsum, CO. This Request for Proposals is intended to gather pertinent information concerning the ability of private contractors to meet the needs of the Town of Gypsum. The Town of Gypsum is requesting technical proposals from interested firms with successful experience in designing, supplying, and installing turnkey EVSE systems on Town sites. The Town of Gypsum recently was awarded a grant from the Charge Ahead Colorado program through the Colorado Energy Office which will partially fund this project. The Town intends to award one contract for this project. The Colorado Energy Office will not be party to the contract; however, will be involved in review of the project requirements and compliance. February 14, 2023 Town Board Approval. April 1, 2023 Estimated Start of Installation, weather dependent. This RFP is being solicited under a multi-step procurement procedure consisting of two phases. The first step requires all firms to submit technical proposals addressing only those items cited in Section II, Proposal Submittal Requirements, of this RFP. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked based on the evaluation criteria outlined in Section III, Evaluation Criteria. A short list of firms will be selected for further evaluation. Only those firms that are placed on the short list based on the evaluation criteria will be considered during the second phase. During the second phase, interviews may be held with the shortlisted firms.
