Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Chestermere, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade recreation facility.
Pre Eng Steel Building Design: The superstructure for the Chestermere Field House & Civic Centre will consist of the following components: 1. Supply and install of Pre-engineered steel columns, joists, beams, girts & cross bracing. 2. Supply and install of corrugated metal decking c/w Nelson stud. 3. S & I miscellaneous metal required for the Pre-Eng Installation installation including but not limited to embed plates, connecting brackets, hangers, tension tie rods and anchor bolts. 4. S & I fasteners and accessories (nuts, bolts, etc.,) TIMELINE: Construction Manager was secured in 2021. Project was subsequently put on indefinite hold by the owner. Updates may be published in the future, pending owner's decision to proceed. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time. *Estimated cost was $39.5 million (2021).
