Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chestermere, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Chestermere would like to enhance the existing connectivity and increase the safety along the east side. In 2020 a document was created with options for active transportation enhancements and crosswalk safety. The East Side Active Transportation Plan is attached for reference to the RFP. After public consultation and Council direction, it has been narrowed down to upgrades of a few areas that would benefit the communities and the entire City for connectivity and safety. Administration is looking for pathway removal, replacement, installation, and line painting. These also include some storm water diversions, retaining walls, cross walk signage, and landscaping.
