The Rainbow Road Expansion project will add vehicular capacity on Rainbow Road from Merganser Drive to Waterford Boulevard. Generally, the scope of construction work includes: Two southbound lanes between Merganser Drive and Waterford Boulevard Left turn bays in both the northbound and southbound directions at 4 intersections A two-lane roundabout at the intersection of Rainbow Road and Merganser Dr A 3.0 m wide multi-use pathway along the west side of Rainbow Road Tie in's to pre-constructed intersection stubs Double davit median street lighting system Catch basin and lead tie ins to the existing storm system Reconstruction of northbound lanes north of Waterford Boulevard to bring superelevation up to standard
