PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Heating contractor is to provide all labor and materials for the demolition of two existing chillers, chilled water system pumps, hydronic piping, refrigerant detection/alarm system, removal and replacement of component specific items for the cooling tower are also required as well as other supporting items as noted. Temporary removal of grates at grade and louvers in a below grade well are required to facilitate chiller removal and replacement. Heating contractor is to provide all labor and materials for two new water-cooled chillers, chilled water system pumps with self-sensing VFD motors, including minor new piping/insulation, refrigerant detection/alarm system, OEM specific components related to the cooling tower and integrate into the existing controls system. BID SECURITY: Bid security must be submitted with each bid equal to 10% of the base bid and must be in the form of a CDB bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or bank draft.
