Site work and new construction of a service station / car wash facility in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; and for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

The work consists of the construction of a new fuel station at 28 Collis Street, which will be used for refueling of Town Fleet vehicles, and removal of existing underground storage tanks at 33 Collis Street. The fueling facility will consist of installation of new above ground fuel storage tanks, dispensing equipment, electrical connections, fuel service canopy, and associated grading and paving, including new stormwater management systems. Bidders shall be CT Department of Administrative Services (DAS) pre-qualified under the category of either Water and Sewer Lines or Site Work. Bidders are advised that both the DAS Prequalification Certificate and Update (Bid) Statement must accompany the Bid proposal for projects estimated to exceed $500,000 under C.G.S. 4b-91 as amended. Failure to supply these forms with the Bid will result in rejection of the Bid. This Contract contains price adjustments for hot mix asphalt mixes. See Section 00800 for payment procedures.
