Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 11,931-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of a new research facility for the McGill University Building-Architecture-Research Node "BARN" (Carrefour de recherche architectural du bâtiment "CRAB"), a living lab, a part of a larger research project focused on the decarbonization of the building and forestry industries. The research facility will be constructed from a range of timber materials systems. The state-of-the-art facility will be hub for provincial, domestic, and international research partners that will cut across academia, industry, and government. TIMELINE: Following a reassessment of the priorities of the project portfolio and given the limited availability of funds, the owner has decided not to proceed with construction of this project and cancelled the project and Request for proposals for construction management services issued under the number C0003967/reference 20006923. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
