Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 200-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The work for which the bids are asked includes, but is not limited to: Modifying/renovating the existing restroom facility at Rotary Park to meet ADA requirements. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Plymouth as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City of Plymouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City.
