The work on this project shall include the following: 1. Deepening of the existing Well S-1 at the South WTP from 490 feet to 1,200 feet below land surface; installation of an 8-inch casing to extend the well casing depth from 184 feet to 600 feet below land surface; and drilling of an 8- inch open hole to 1,200 feet below land surface. . 2. A new well pump to replace the existing Well No. S-1 pump. The replacement pump is to be installed at the existing pump pad and pedestal and connected to existing well discharge piping and valves. 3. A new pump starter in MCC-1. 4. A new local pump switch. 5. New electrical conduit and wiring feed from the pump starter to the local switch. All contract time lines will be based on the project scope and the estimated time for performance. The successful Bidder shall have this project attain substantial completion no later than One Hundred Fifty (150) consecutive calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed and/or the City issued Purchase Order date and final completion no later than Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after substantial completion date. This project is to improve the water quality of the City's South Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Well S-1 located at 1890 Casselton Drive, Casselberry, Florida 32707 by deepening the well to match the depth of the WTP's two (2) other production wells. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the facilities.
