Work includes but not limited to the replacement of two 180 ton package chillers with new Trane chillers and install automatic isolation valves, replace the existing chilled water pumps with new pumps complete with variable frequency drive for the pumps, replace the 64 existing VAV boxes with new VAV boxes, install new Schieder Electric Structure Ware controls compatible with the EMCS server, relocate existing outside air intake located on the north elevation of facility to a minimum of ten feet as shown on Drawings utilizing Summary of Work & Specifications. This invitation for Bid (IFB) is for a Single Award Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract for the Space Launch Delta 45, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS): 238220: Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Small Business Size Standard is $16,500,000.00. In Accordance With (IAW) FAR 36.204(f), Magnitude of Construction Project 16-1577, Replace HVAC at Facility 85125 is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The duration of this contract will be 330 calendar days (includes 30 Non-access days) from Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after award. The acquisition is being issued as a competitive set-aside for Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns.
