The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials to provide new underground water utilities and infrastructure amenities. Provide erosion control measures, traffic maintenance controls, site demolition, & earthwork to install underground potable & fire water distribution and services system. Installation primarily by open trench method with minimal pipe horizonal directional drill installation. Pipe installation alignment is clear of heavy vegetation, primarily grasses roadway shoulder & facilities. Open road cuts for utility road crossing installation, with expedited final asphalt pavement restoration. Providing clean fill and earthwork to place water utility amenities above grade. Testing of in place new utilities. Utility installation concrete work for utility thrust blocks, on grade surface pads, and sidewalk restoration. Final connection of new utilities to existing active water services. Restore disturbed roadway traffic stripes. Final roadside shoulder surface grade establishment & restoration, sod placement & establishment, removal of erosion control measures, and removal of traffic maintenance controls.
