Site work, new construction and renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 35,000-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a 5,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of June 23, 2025, the UC Davis Health Central Utility Plant Expansion is in active construction at the Sacramento campus. A general contractor and design firm have been selected. This $193 million progressive design-build project began in 2024 and is scheduled for completion by 2029. It includes a 40,000-square-foot annex and upgrades to the existing plant, aimed at boosting utility capacity, seismic resilience, and supporting campus electrification. The expansion will power major new facilities like the California Tower and aligns with UC Davis Health’s long-term sustainability goals.
