Enrollment Management & Admissions Renovation Scope of work for this package is Mechanical (HVAC devices, ductwork, HVAC related piping, HVAC related electrical and controls) demolition and renovation work only. Drawings from other disciplines are included "FOR REFERENCE ONLY" and are not part of this package scope. 1. Materials and installation instructions common to mechanical systems. 2. Pipe joining materials and methods. 3. Dielectric fittings. 4. Pipe sleeves. 5. Penetration firestopping of fire-resistance-rated assemblies and/or smoke barriers by mechanical piping, conduit, or ductwork 6. Labeling and identifying mechanical systems and equipment. 7. Painting and finishing of mechanical work. 8. Selective Demolition. 9. Cutting and patching. Mechanical work shall consist of modifying the existing HVAC system to accommodate new space layout. Work to include new Variable Air Volume (VAV) units with heating water coils serving new temperature control zones. Ductwork, air devices, piping, and temperature controls shall be included. This contractor shall coordinate with all trades, including the campus Building Automation System (BAS) and Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing contractors. *The Owner will refund the $100 deposit to contractors who return drawings and specifications in good condition acceptable to the Owner within fourteen (14) calendar days after the opening of the bids The Contractor shall have a Diversity Participation goal of ten percent (10%) combined Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and/or Veteran Owned Business, with Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVE) of three percent (3%) of awarded contract price for work to be performed.
