Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority at the Authoritys office, 1 Highland Avenue, Monmouth Beach, New Jersey on for Contract 197 EMERGENCY REPAIRS. Contract 197 EMERGENCY REPAIRS is described as sanitary sewer repair work (gravity and force mains), new sanitary sewer installation, installation of new house service connections, and repairs to existing house service connections in the Boroughs of Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, West Long Branch, Shrewsbury, Little Silver and Fair Haven, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Also included are repairs to utility systems (for example potable and non-potable water mains, sewer (gravity and force) mains at the Treatment Plant located in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey. The contractor may also be requested to supply labor and equipment to assist the Authority in other work at the Plant, or Pump Stations throughout the collection system. The Authority reserves the right to bid non-emergency additional work if it is in the best interest of the Authority. Bids must be in the hands of the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority no later than 10:30 A.M., prevailing time, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th, 2021, at said Authority's offices at which time all bids will be opened and read, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be reached. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Executive Director of the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority, and shall be clearly marked on the outside lower left-hand corner, "Sealed Bid Contract 197 EMERGENCY REPAIRS", which generally includes lateral installation and repairs, as well as repairs and /or improvements to the Authority's collection system at the Treatment Plant. Agreement of Surety, List of Owners, Bidder's Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bidders Statement of Qualifications, Public Works Contractor Registration Act Certificate, Subcontractor Listing, Equipment Certification, Acknowledgement of Addenda, State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate, Affirmative Action, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 Acknowledgement, Certificate of Equal Opportunity, American Products Certification and Prevailing Wage Acknowledgment documents are also mandatory submittals. Bids shall be made on the standard Proposal Form in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P. L. l975, C. 127, (N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17: 27) Affirmative Action and P. L. 1963, C. 150, Prevailing Wage. The Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of said opening.
