Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North East, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work under this Contract includes installation of approximately 1,514-lineal feet of 12- inch PVC sanitary sewer along with manholes, asphalt pavement replacement, concrete sidewalk replacement and related work. Each bid must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price in accordance with provisions contained in the "Instructions to Bidders" section of the specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the Borough of North East. Contractors must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations, as specified in the Contract Documents. Except as otherwise expressly permitted by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 60 days after date of bid opening The Borough of North East reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any part of any bid, and to waive any and all informalities in connection therewith. BIDDER agrees that all work will be substantially completed within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. These contract documents and the accompanying construction drawings provide for the installation of 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer and manholes, including lateral connections and street restoration. The work involved is covered by these contract documents. Any labor, equipment, machinery, or apparatus not specifically mentioned herein or shown on the project drawings which may be found necessary to complete or perfect any portion ofwork in a substantial manner and in compliance with the requirements stated or implied in these specifications and/or plans, shall be supplied by the Contractor without additional compensation. The Contractor shall visit the site and become familiar with all site estrictions and special requirements. The Contractor shall be familiar with and responsible for knowledge ofthe entire specifications and all project plans.
