Housing Authority of the County of Erie will receive sealed bids for Kitchen Cabinet & Countertop Replacements at 34 units in North East, Pa and Corry, Pa. Please refer to our website at online or call 814-665-5161 for complete details of the Invitation for Bids. Contract A - Kitchen Cabinet and Countertop Replacements at 34 units; Marvin J. Schick Apartments - 15 units in North East, Pa; West Court Apartments - 12 units in Corry, Pa; Random Court- 7 single family homes in Corry, Pa. The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, the following major items of construction and/or renovation. 1. Remove existing countertops, kitchen cabinets, laundry cabinet rangehoods, sinks, water supply lines, water shut offs and drain traps. 2. Install new kitchen cabinets matching existing layout. 3. Cabinets to be installed with #8 - 3" cabinet screws into wall studs and/or approved wall anchor. 4. Install new kick toe trim on base cabinets. 5. Install new formica countertops with 4" backsplash using a waterproof adhesive and caulking along the top of the backsplash. 6. Install existing kitchen sinks using waterproof adhesive and screw clamps. 7. Install new sink baskets, tail piece with P-trap, water shutoffs, supply lines and faucet with no sprayer. 8. Install new 30" black, convertible rangehood with light, filter and minimum 270cfm. 9. Cabinets and countertop colors to be determined. 10. Install all materials to Manufacturer's specifications. 11. Contractors are responsible for keeping a clean and safe work site at all times. 12. Contractors are responsible for disposal of all waste materials. 13. Contractor must provide One Year Warranty for all labor and material.
