This fence project consists of removing approximately 4.5 miles of barbed wire fence and constructing approximately 4.5 miles of smooth four-wire fence. Some brushing is required as part of this work. Brushing shall be done on WDFW property only. The new fence includes all gates, stream crossings, stretch braces and end braces and shall be constructed completely on WDFW property. Staging areas will be preapproved and discussed at the preconstruction meeting. The Contractor may get permission for access from neighbors, but permission must be in writing and a copy given to the project manager before such access is used.
