Bids greater than $35,000 shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond payable to the Treasurer of the State of Washington in an amount equal to at least five-percent of the bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and give separate bond as required Application ID: 25903 The goal of this project is to construct fence to a uniform construction using steel tee posts and steel braces along the boundaries and in the Oak Creek Wildlife Area, located in Yakima County, West of Yakima, Washington. This fence project consists of removing approximately 4.5 miles of barbed wire fence and constructing approximately 4.5 miles of smooth four-wire fence. Some brushing is required as part of this work. Brushing shall be done on WDFW property only. The new fence includes all gates, stream crossings, stretch braces and end braces and shall be constructed completely on WDFW property. Staging areas will be preapproved and discussed at the preconstruction meeting. The Contractor may get permission for access from neighbors, but permission must be in writing and a copy given to the project manager before such access is used.
