Project, work includes preparing the 13 acre site for future development, as shown on the plans and specifications of the City of Sierra Vista, 1011 North Coronado Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona 85635. All questions related to solicitation shall be submitted in writing electronically on or before September 3, 2021 at 5:00 pm The contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder. Each bid shall be made out on the proposal forms included within the ProcureNow Portal, and shall be accompanied by a bid bond acceptable to the City of Sierra Vista for a penal sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid made payable to the order of the City of Sierra Vista. Each bidder shall acknowledge a non-collusion statement on the form which is included in specifications packet. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The Chief Procurement Officer may condition award of any successful bid upon payment of any and all required taxes, license fees, or other monies due to city or another governmental agency. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept, increase, or reduce the quantities of any or all items of any bid proposal, unless the bidder qualifies such bid by specific limitation The scope of this project includes the following: o Earth moving to relocate material from the large mound of spoils material from past airport construction projects and use it as fill material for future hangar buildings along the existing apron. o Drainage improvements and identifying potential drainage easements to ensure stormwater runoff is handled properly after the buildings are constructed. o Establish utility corridors for future electrical, communication, and water line utilities. o Establish dedicated areas for septic tanks and leach fields The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract.
