Howard County intends to procure the services of one construction firm to perform the services identified in this contract. This project involves the replacement of the existing underground fuel tanks and fuel dispensing equipment and all incidental work identified on the contract documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond or certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the "Director of Finance, Howard County". For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Purchasing prior to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive.
