Renovation of a military facility in Watkins, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
For the removal and replacement of the existing exterior windows, entry doors & side glazing and vestibule doors and side glazing at the Watkins RC facility. Work includes removing the existing window assemblies, replacing exterior metal building trim found around the windows, and installing specified wall flashing as detailed within construction document details and specs. Interior work is limited to the demoed window areas, where detailed trim work should cover all damaged finish wall areas. Key work items are listed below; drawings and specifications describe full requirements Remove and dispose existing window assemblies, Remove sheet metal trim at exterior corrugated metal wall panels around windows and replace as detailed within construction documents, Install new flashing as detailed within construction docs, Install new window assemblies as approved through shop submittal process, Install PVC interior window trim as detailed within construction documents. Location-5049 Front Range Pkwy Watkins, CO 80137 o Remove and dispose existing window assemblies. o Remove sheet metal trim at exterior corrugated metal wall panels around windows & replace as detailed within construction documents. o Install new flashing as detailed within construction docs. o Install new window assemblies as approved through shop submittal process. o Install PVC interior window trim as detailed within construction documents Estimated Construction Cost: $600,000.00 provide alternate pricing for storefront in main vestibule area. this includes storefront bays e and d (interior and exterior bays) and doors 1a, 1b, 2a, and 2b, as well as all associated demolition, hardware, patch and repair, etc. This facilities second floor is a high security area. GC crewmen will require security training and screening to work on site. Due to this projects funding type, construction must be completed with final invoice provided to DMVA by March 1, 2022. Construction Schedule: 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion 30 calendar days for completion of punch list items, warranties, etc. 150 calendar days total construction period Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that all firms will be required to meet all minimum requirements to be considered for this project. To be considered as qualified, interested firms shall have, as a minimum: 1. General Contractor shall provide proof of similar project type complexity within the last five (5) years for at least three (3) projects each in excess of $400,000 (hard costs), utilizing the expertise present in their Colorado Office. OSA-AFB-1 NEW 1/2017 2. Any bid that exceeds $50,000 will be required to submit a bid bond along with their bid equal to 5% of the amount of their bid
