Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Sanford, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of January 5, 2022, the village is seeking sufficient funding for this project. The award of the project will be announced once the funding is secured. The Project includes the following Work: Concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, HMA paving, storm sewer, fencing, irrigation, lighting, pavilions, playgrounds, and site lighting for the construction of eight ball fields. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 2,700 Ton HMA Parking Lot and Drives 3,330 Lft Storm Sewer 58,300 Sft Concrete Sidewalk 20,100 Cyd Earthwork (cut) 18,500 Cyd Earthwork (fill) 8 Ea Ballfields, Fencing, and Irrigation Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Since the above-referenced project is funded with assistance from a Recreation Passport Grant Program grant, all successful bidders shall comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act) and 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act). State or federal funds are being used to assist in construction and relevant State or federal requirements will apply. Additional FEMA Required Contract Clauses, 2 C.F.R. 200.326 and 2 C.F.R. Part 200, Appendix II provided after specifications. Village of Sanford, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner.
