The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites Certified General Contractors or Certified Building Contractors prequalified by the School Board, pursuant to SREF Chapter 4.1 prior to the Proposal Due Date, to submit a Proposal for: Construction Management Services for: Facilities Renovations and Repair The Construction Manager shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase Services following Award of the GMP for each school identified in this Project Notification. The Construction Manager may be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the Owner. The Construction Managershall provide deferred maintenance, renovations and repairs to school facilities which may include, but not limited to, ADA and CSIR compliance requirements, renovation and repair to school facilities which may include, but not limited to, building envelope repairs and replacements, exterior doors and windows, roof replacements, electrical and lighting replacement, intercom/sound system, security system, fire alarm system, HVAC and Plumbing systems, paving and play court resurfacing, marquees and scoreboards and other Work as may be required by the Owner. Construction shall incorporate all of the requirements set forth in the permitted Construction Documents, School District of Palm Beach County Master Specifications, District Design Criteria, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2014, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) and Florida Building Code. The Construction Manager shall carry out the construction in accordance with the requirements stated on Department of Education's SREF 2014 and FAC Chapter 6A-2.
