Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Nikiski, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for the North Peninsula Recreation Center AV Upgrades. The project consists of the following: Designing and installing a new display and control system in the MultiPurpose room at the Nikiski Community Recreation Center. Q and A deadline 09/01/2021 09:00 PM EDT This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. If the bid exceeds $100,000 the following apply: Certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the Kenai Peninsula Borough amount equal to five (5%) percent of the total bid Bidder shall furnish the Owner a Performance and Payment bond in the full amount of the Agreement and shall maintain the Bond in force during the continuance of the Agreement. Substantial Completion 60 days from Notice to Proceed The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor irregularities in any bids or in the bidding procedure, and to accept any bid presented which meets or exceeds said specifications and which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough. However, the requirements for timeliness and manual signatures shall not be waived.
