Completed plans call for the addition of a 9,418-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility; for the renovation of a 323-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Construction of an addition as well as renovation of existing space including additional exam rooms and treatment spaces; and a new medical linear accelerator (LINAC), commonly used for delivering external beam radiation treatments to patients with cancer. Western Manitoba Cancer Centre is approximately 1620 m2, new additions of approximately 875 m2 total, and interior renovations connecting to existing corridors of approximately 30 m2.
