The work per the contract documents, dated October 11, 2021, and any addenda thereto includes all labor and materials needed to renovate the fencing for seven tennis courts in two locations, including the demolition and disposal of the existing fencing mesh and cross supports, painting the existing posts, and installing new 2" pattern, 9 ga. core, black vinyl coated fencing mesh, black cross supports, installation of an owner provided tennis net system, and all associated hardware per the plans and specifications. Coordination with a separate paving contractor will be required. All bids must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTY. The recommended form of BID GUARANTY is a BID GUARANTY and CONTRACT Bond in the full amount of the bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Other acceptable forms of BID GUARANTY include a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid plus all add alternates. Bid security issued in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. If the BID is accepted, a CONTRACT must be executed and a satisfactory Performance/Payment Bond furnished, conditioned according to law in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the CONTRACT price, within ten (10) days after notice of award.
