The City of Westerville is seeking proposals for professional planning and conceptual design services. The work includes, but is not limited to, fire station space and facility needs assessment and programming, identification of site requirements, conceptual building floor plans and layout, building elevations, conceptual-level total project cost estimates (hard and soft costs), and thorough written documentation summarizing research findings, design rationale, and cost estimates. Needs Assessment and Space Programming: In collaboration with Westerville Fire Division staff, develop a detailed program outlining: Required spaces (apparatus bays, living spaces, training, administrative, museum, storage, etc.) Size requirements and relationships between spaces. The City reserves the right to determine the suitability of proposals on the basis of any or all of these criteria or other criteria not included in the above list. This detailed evaluation process may result in one or more finalists. The City may request presentations by finalists and may carry out contract negotiations to obtain best and final offers.
