Project consists of modification of existing storm drainage to include, modification/addition of existing downspouts and gutters, installation of storm sewer, drainage A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid for the Stormwater Conveyance Improvements at South Greensburg Commons shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 110% of the contract price, and certificate of insurance prior to the award of the contract. All requests for information shall be submitted in writing to the office of the Engineer on or before 5:00 p.m. local prevailing time Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Requests for information will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on September 14, 2021. The Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the Contract.
