The Shelby County Board of Education will accept written proposals for SCS Paving Project (7) Locations. Questions or Requests Due September 10, 2021 2:00pm Questions and Answers Posted September 17, 2021 4:00 pm The SCBE requests bids for SCS Paving Projects (7) Locations. The specifications are contained in the Design Project Manual. Responses submitted must meet or exceed all requirements. Bids that do not meet or exceed all requirements will be considered non-responsive. The Scope of Work for the design and any required civil engineering services for the civil and paving projects at seven (7) locations shall include but not be limited to, the following: Design and engineering shall utilize the "Design/ Planning Principles & Construction Guidelines for Shelby County Schools", latest edition. Design fees are to include required due diligence services to include but not limited to those items as listed in Section III "Due Diligence" of the "Design/ planning Principles & Construction Guidelines for Shelby County Schools", latest edition. Design services will be required to utilize SCS Department of Major Construction's construction platform, PROCORE. This access and training will be at no cost to the vendor. If required, design services shall include but not be limited to all design, sustainability, ADA compliance, estimating, phasing plans, demolition, civil, landscaping, life safety, and site utility.
