Renovation of a museum in Miami Beach, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a museum.
*** As per Danny Flores, this project was rejected due to bid responses being over budget. Plans to rebid are currently unknown. (As of 1/03/2022) The scope of work in this project includes installation of impact windows at the Bass Museum. The Contractor is to remove the existing windows and install new energy efficient impact resistant windows per the approved Permit Drawings prepared by Schindler Architects, Inc.dated on 02/01/2021. All of the windows supplied for this project and installation practices shall adhere to all the applicable Florida building codes, rules, and regulations set forth by the City's Building Department. Contract duration: 90 days The Bass Museum is located at 2100 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139 and is a City of Miami Beach ("City") owned property. As part of the Capital Renewal and Replacement Program, the Fleet and Facilities Management Department (the "Department) is working to replace the Bass Museum's existing windows in order to harden this facility against future hurricane damage
