Renovation of a residential development in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a four-unit residential development.
The Shrewsbury Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the 667-1 & 705-1 Roof Replacement at Various Sites, #271069 in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by RGB Architects. The Project consists of: The removal of existing asphalt shingle roof systems on 4 Housing Units and a community center down to the sheathing, and replacement with new 50-year asphalt shingles complete with rubberized membrane and flashings. Base bid is Francis Gardens Community Building and 40 Liberty Street. There is an alternate for each of the 3 Parker Road Units (8-18 Parker Road). The work is estimated to cost $97,850.Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. DCAMM Certification Requirements: NONE General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Shrewsbury Housing Authority.
