1) Areas to be mowed and trimmed are Mountain View Cemetery, Boylston Street, Town Common, Church Road, Front/Rte 140 side of Public Library, Main Street, Fire Department Headquarters, Church Road. A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany the Bid and be made payable to the Town of Shrewsbury. The awarded contract shall be for a term of three (3) years. The timeframe for the work to be performed shall be as follows: year one shall cover the period of April 15, 2025 through December 2, 2025; year two shall commence on April 14, 2026 and end on December 1, 2026; year three shall commence on April 15, 2027 and end on December 2, 2027. Question Deadline 01/22/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Any questions must be submitted in writing to the Parks & Cemetery Division Manager at Town Hall or by email to Kesposito@shrewsburyma.gov. The Town reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the bids and to reject any and all bids if it shall be deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
