This bridge is one of the bridges being considered for tolling to pay for its repair or upgrades of it and eight other major interstate bridges by the consortium of companies to manage construction picked by Gov. Tom Wolf's administration. The number of, and which, bridges has not been determined. ______________________________________ I-80 over SR 1005, Lehigh River, and Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad Carbon County. Primary Improvement Type: Bridge Improvement As of January 09, 2023, the project is In development stage. Anticipated letting date is January 23, 2025. PennDOT - I-80 White Haven Bridges *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability.
