Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of May 15, 2023, project was awarded to LEHIGH ASPHALT PAVING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, awarded amount is $383,547.25.** Clarification Deadline 4/6/2023 3:00 PM Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via electronically. Install New Restrooms & Overlay Existing Bituminous Pavement at Mauch Chunk Lake Park - Boat Launch B Quality Standard and Industry Specifications and Requirements All workmanship and materials shall be in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Publication 408/2020, including all latest revisions, and supplements, the 2009 MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways) with revisions 1, 2, & 3 incorporated & dated July 2022, the International Building Code 2018 (IBC 2018) Standards, and the manufactures recommendations and specifications unless otherwise noted. If there is a conflict, the most stringent standard will apply. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the County of Carbon, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, along with all required items as indicated in the Bid Documents. This project is subject to the provisions of the PA Prevailing Wage Act. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder submitting a bid in conformity with the specifications. However, the County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
