Site work for a road / highway in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
For the Transfer Station Ramp & Retaining Wall. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required for Penn Forest Township to construct a new transfer ramp and new compactor locations at the existing Penn Forest Transfer Station. Contractor shall provide the necessary site work, materials, and labor for the scope of work described. See drawings for details. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above. Penn Forest Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days. Questions may be submitted through electronically "Clarifications (From Vendors)" tab on or before 3 P.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
