All Work, materials, and equipment are to be in accordance with the Contract Documents on file in the office of the Village Administrator, and at the office of HR Green, Inc. ("ENGINEER"), 1391 Corporate Drive, Suite 203, McHenry, IL 60050, by this reference made a part hereof as though fully set out and incorporated herein. The Work for the said improvement, as required by the Contract Documents, is generally described as follows: The project includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation, of approx. 171 sanitary manholes. Rehabilitation includes varying amounts of lining, external chimney seals, frame adjustments, curtain grouting, bench repair, grouting and wiping joints, and site surface restoration. The Village of Antioch, Illinois, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
