Sealed bids for Landscaping & Groundskeeping Services for all seven district buildings for season year 2023, & renewals for seasons 2024, 2025, and 2026. Access to the premises can be scheduled by contacting Frank Giannosa, Operations and Maintenance Manager at (847) 838-8386. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). A bid bond, certified check or cashier's check for 10% of the proposed 2023 season fees must accompany the sealed bid. Unsuccessful bidders will have their check or bid bond returned promptly. All bids must be firm for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening. It is anticipated that a recommendation to the Board of Education will occur on February 21, 2023 and services are expected to begin on April 1, 2023. The Board of Education of Antioch CCSD #34 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informality or technical irregularity in the bids or bid process, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder in the School District's best interests, as determined I the discretion of the Board of Education.
