Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Kenai, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for North Peninsula Recreation Center Touchless Fixture Upgrade. The project consists of the following: Provide all labor and materials to replace plumbing fixtures per contract documents. Q&A DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 16, 2021 BY 5:00 PM Questions may be submitted through the questions and answers section of this bid electronically , faxed to (907) 714-2373 or emailed to purchasing@kpb.us. The subject line of the email should read, "Questions: North Peninsula Recreation Service Area Touchless Fixture Upgrade." If the bid exceeds $100,000 the following apply: Certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the Kenai Peninsula Borough amount equal to five (5%) percent of the total bid This contract is subject to the provision of State of Alaska, Title 36, Minimum Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. Substantial Completion 75 days from Notice to Proceed The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive minor irregularities in any bids or in the bidding procedure, and to accept any bid presented which meets or exceeds said specifications and which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough.
