Provide electrical, mechanical, and data to support new AV equipment in pre-clinic exam rooms suite 300. Project scope includes AV system installation and AV rough-in including power infrastructure. Please see updated alternates listed below and in the information tab on building connected. Please include break out pricing for all alternates covered by your scope of work. Alternate No. 1 - Provide a new electrical panelboard to support new power circuits (no extension of time will be granted if alternate is accepted) – See Drawings for Additional Alternate details. Alternate No. 2 - Provide two 1” spare conduits from electrical room to room 361 along same pathway as existing plenum cable tray. Wall penetrations for conduit shall include fire stopping and sealant at all fire rated and concrete wall conduit penetrations. No extension of time will be granted if alternate is accepted. ALTERNATE 1: Under the base bid, provide new circuit breakers in the existing electrical panel to support new poker circuits. As Alternate 1, provide a new electrical panelboard to support new power circuits. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: "B" - General Building Contractor Every effort will be made to ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within the limits imposed by law or University policy. PROJECT SCOPE INCLUDES AV SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND AV ROUGH-IN INCLUDING POWER INFRASTRUCTURE. AV SYSTEM DRAWINGS WERE DEVELOPED BY INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS SEPARATE FROM THIS DRAWING PACKAGE. THIS DRAWING PACKAGE FOCUSES ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE/ROUGH-IN TO SUPPORT THE AV INSTALLATION. SCOPE INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: 1. PROVIDE LOW VOLTAGE CABLING NECESSARY TO SUPPORT THE AV SYSTEM. 2. INSTALL AND STRUCTURALLY ANCHOR NEW AV EQUIPMENT RACK IN ROOM 361 AND 300P. THE 361 EQUIPMENT RACK IS OWNER FURNISHED AND CONTRACTOR INSTALLED (OFCI). THE 300P EQUIPMENT RACK SHALL BE FURNISHED AND INSTALLED BY THE CONTRACTOR. 3. REMOVE THE EXISTING SUPPLY DIFFUSER AND PROVIDE NEW SUPPLY AIR REGISTER WITH OPPOSED BLADE DAMPER AT THE NECK OF THE DIFFUSER IN ROOM 361. BALANCE THE NEW SUPPLY REGISTER TO PROVIDE MINIMUM OUTSIDE AIR FOR VENTILATION IN ROOM 361. 4. PROVIDE WHITE HDPE CEILING TILE FOR SPEAKER TO REPLACE EXISTING SPLINE CEILING TILE. SEE SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION. 5. EXTEND NEW POWER CIRCUITS TO SUPPORT: A. AV RACK POWER NEEDS IN ROOM 361 AND 300P. B.
