Complete Street Project including: installation of on-street bicycle facilities, elimination of gaps in the future bike network, elimination of 4-lane undivided roadway, infill of sidewalk gaps, modification of signal heads, coordination with DART and enhancement of environmental justice areas. Geography includes Beaver Avenue (41st Street to Forest Avenue); Forest Avenue (Beaver Avenue to 9th Street); 9th Street (Forest Avenue to Crocker Street); 25th Street (Forest Avenue to Cottage Grove Avenue) and 15th Street (Center Street to Grand Avenue). The traffic study was conducted in spring 2022,and the concept plan development with Design/Construction woll occur in 2023-2024. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program.
