Renovation of a detention facility in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Project has been Rebid In general the work consists of: Upgrading the existing non-lethal electrified fence detection system on the perimeter fence of the institution. Communications, monitoring and other features to be replaced. See technical specification section. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. No formal pre-bid tour will be conducted at the site for this project. Individual site tours may be scheduled with the site, based on the sole discretion of the site. Allowed site tours shall be conducted between the dates of September 21, 2021 and September 23, 2021. Requests shall be made directly to the JCI contact: Robert Mann at Robert.mann@wisconsin.gov. Such requests shall include the number of participants and the completed Facility Security Clearance Background form.
