Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the Work involves removal of existing temporary enclosures, panels, wall assemblies, doors, hoarding and replacement of damaged components including but not limited to the elevator system and cab, sliding entrance doors and frames, damaged hoistway bracing, glazing systems and interior finishes including repair to architectural concrete curbs as well as interior elements. Installation of bollards on site including any foundation and site servicing as required. All damaged/interrupted tie-ins to the existing security, electrical and fire alarm systems to be repaired and reconnected. Coordination with the base building contractors is required. The GC will include a consultant for the duration of the elevator repair to complete all requisite design, commissioning, contract administration and sign offs. The contractor is responsible for obtaining any and all required permits necessary from Authorities Having Jurisdiction. Restrictions on work hours and coordination with operations staff for Dixie MiWay is necessary to ensure the continuous use of the facility throughout the construction period. Co-ordinate any traffic disruptions with CoM staff and obtain approvals for lane closures and traffic diversions as required.
