Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Superior, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a stadium.
In general, the work consists of excavation a portion of the former football field, surrounding recreational fields, and adjacent residence hall parking lots; replacement of the existing soils with filtration fabric, engineered fill, and drain tile to provide appropriate drainage capabilities and features; and installation of a new asphalt track with rubberized surface, new synthetic turf soccer field, water and sanitary utilities, storm water drainage and management infrastructure, field and site lighting, grandstand, press box, and protective fencing around the entire site. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. General prime contractor bids that do not include the successful MEP bids will be rejected. The state will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, certified general prime contractor and this general prime contractor will enter into subcontract with the successful MEP bidders.
