Renovation of a day care center in Glidden, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA Document A310, Bid Bond is required for this project, and must be submitted at the time of bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. All contractors and subcontractors on the project are required . All bids shall be made on the printed bid form attached to and made a part of the proposed Contract Documents.Refer to other bidding requirements described in Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities is reserved by Lil' Wildcats Education Center Board of Directors. A single Prime Contract is anticipated for a one-story 5,803 square foot wood-framed childcare building. The project includes sitework, site clearing, concrete work, wood stud framing, finish carpentry, casework, insulation, asphalt shingle roofing, sheet metal work, sealants, steel doors, wood doors, metal frames, aluminum doors, glass, hardware, casement windows, flooring, walls, and ceiling finishes, drywall, plumbing, mechanical, and electricalwork
