Site work for a mixed-use development in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Line Restoration Projects Work includes crosswalk, stop bar, and traffic marking striping at intersections along Route 3 and Route 252, intersection markings at Winding Way and St. Albans Avenue, line striping and gore markings on Clyde Lane, double yellow line striping on Ellis Avenue, Winding Way, St. Albans Avenue, Brookside Road and Sawmill Road, and school zone markings in three separate areas on Malin Road, Media Line Road and West Chester Pike. An alternate bid will also be included. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond, with corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount of ten percent of the bid, all as posted through PennBid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Questions may be submitted through portal on or before Noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 Responses will be provided to all registered plan holders. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, requirements for a one-year maintenance bond and the E-Verify Public Works Employment Verification Act. Newtown Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Township.
