This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as they deem for the best interest of Newtown Township DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Milling, asphalt wearing courses, bituminous base repair, and joint sealing in accordance with Municipality Specifications and PennDOT 408 specifications, latest edition thereof.
