Renovation of a detention facility in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,200-square-foot detention facility.
Project includes for base bid a full removal of existing ballasted ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) roof system on tapered polyisocyanurate insulation on roofs 7A, 7B, 7C,7F, 8A, 8B, 8C, and 8F and replace it with TPO roofing system on tapered insulation over vapor barrier on existing precast concrete plank roof deck. The replacement of metal fascia, scuppers and downspouts, roof hatches, and raise existing roof curbs. The Alternate Bid No. G-1 includes a TPO roofing system on rigid insulation on roofs A, B, 7E, and 8E. The replacement of metal fascia, gutters and downspouts, roof hatches, and raise existing roof curbs.
