The project will be funded with local Michigan Transportation Funds (MTF). This project will be exempt from SHPO, NEPA, and 5323 submittals. This Design Completion is expected to be in January 2022. BCRD is estimating a project cost of $200,000. Complete engineering and landscape design elements, to include: Road improvements Addition of parking Stormwater Management Utility Coordination Public Engagement Related Permitting Construction Document Construction Bid Support Berrien Street which lies within Chikaming Township extending from Red Arrow Highway to Lakeshore Road. This will include the intersections of Oakwood Ave, Howard Street, and Isobel Street. (See attached map) The Berrien County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or make any deviations deemed in the best interest of Berrien County.
